In her last role as the Director of Events at Coupa Software, she planned & executed all events—focusing on trade shows, field marketing and their annual industry conference that she invented and tripled their numbers of attendees.

Tanya Andrade is passionate about events. She comes to Event Marketing Authority as a seasoned event marketing & communications executive with more than 25 years of award-winning event experience in high-tech B2B and B2C models, including hardware and software marketing expertise in SAAS, IoT, AI, ERP, and CRM sectors.
As the CEO and founder of Event Builders, Inc. she built relationships through collaboration with agencies, vendors, customers, prospects, business partners, and employees. She was able to hone her craft in developing world-class events, branding, marketing, and communications through working together with both internal and external stakeholders. Her success was determined by the creation of successful action plans that drove revenue growth for her own company, vendors, and clients a like.
Tanya’s combined background in both managing large corporate event teams and running an agency make her an esteemed asset for both the agency and the client.
She has a results-oriented leadership style with a ‘hands-on approach’ to delivering immediate results through online and live marketing conferences, tradeshows, and events.
As an executive in event marketing, she delivered on her assigned objectives including driving ROI and managing the P&L of $40 Million-dollar event budgets with revenue targets of over $20 million dollars. Her direct global event responsibilities ranged from managing thousands of employees and vendors onsite to overseeing over 25,000 conference attendees at a single event. Her oversight included global teams and global events. She was one of the senior corporate event marketing executives responsible for ORACLE OpenWorld.
She holds a BS and MBA from San Jose State University and was a faculty teacher at SFSU for the Event & Meeting Planning Certification Program. She is a member of many industry associations and has been the chair of many philanthropic events. She is a knowledge seeker who loves reading. Her life’s purpose is to be a blessing to others.
David is a Silicon Valley native. His professional experience began with ISP's and CLEC's selling dialup connections and ISDN in the first "dot com" boom. While working in Sales, he experienced a number of trade shows and was taken with them. He left a Senior level position with XO Communications to pursue concert and street marketing at KWOD, KEZR and KBAY. His endeavors in radio led to managing special events and experiential marketing campaigns and concert tours for MTV, NASCAR, Verizon, Principal Fiancial Group, and Johnson & Johnson.
Realizing there is no place like home, David came back to Silicon Valley to move into corporate meetings and events. After hundreds of events over the course of 14 years, activating in over a dozen countries and 4 continents, he decided it was time to take the leap and start a new agency.
